Kurt Oberloh, Jr. has been a Moses Lake resident for over 10 years and has owned and operated a small business support company, an IT firm, an entertainment company, a live sound company and now serves as a business consultant; specializing in Social Media Marketing. Two of the above companies were sold, where the others have evolved to new enterprises.

Kurt has served on the board of the Moses Lake Business Association since 2006 and is now serving his second term as the Vice-President.

Kurt has also served on the committee of the Moses Lake Spring Festival since 2007 and was elected to the board in 2009 and also serving a three year term as President of the committee.

Kurt is also current a member of the Grant County Economic Development Council, Moses Lake Business Association, Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce, Moses Lake Spring Festival, Power Partners of Grant County, Moses Lake Alumni Association, Kiwanis Club of Moses Lake and a supporter of the Moses Lake Pirates, Babe Ruth Baseball and AIM Gymnastics. Kurt is also serving as a Business Mentor for The Prosperity Center.

Kurt has also held the position as an Advertising Representative for two local publications, General Manager of a local animal shelter, and has held a sales position for organizations both big and small. Kurt has also co-organized a support group for new and hopeful entrepreneurs. In 2008, Kurt took continuing legal education paralegal courses and keeps up to date with business and marketing strategies.

Also, in 2007 Kurt was a Washington State Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 30) Nominee.

Kurt has built a great network of peers and colleagues to accomplish any task place before him and his team.
